The Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Edo State, has denied any link to the alleged trending suspension of Chief Dan Orbih, the former State Chairman of the party.
The Party, described it as figment of the imagination of trouble brewers and the handiwork of the fifth columnists in the state.
Chris Osa Nehikhare, Edo State Publicity Secretary of the party, made the disclosure, Thursday, while reacting to the rumored suspension in Benin City.
Nehikhare also described the purported suspension of Chief Orbih as a joke taken too far.
In a statement, Nehikhare said, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State, is constrained to react to what he described as unacceptable and regrettable behavior of some of its members in the state.
The news of Chief Dan Orbih’s suspension filtered the air waves across the country, thereby, creating unexplainable tension within the party structure and its supporters in the state.
Chief Dan Osi Orbih, untill the rumored suspension, remained the National Vice Chairman of the Party.
