The approval by Governor Godwin Obaseki of the appointment of Hon Osaigbovo IYOHA as the New Chief of Staff to Edo State Government has generated various reactions and commendations across the Society with Kingsley BELELE Igbinovia being the latest in the ranks.

With more than six months into his second tenure in office and time perceived to be tickling whilst expectations high, the news of the appointment filtered causing opinions.

Seemingly, Kingsley BELELE Igbinovia as one of the swift reactants noted that, it was apt and a clear pointer to Governor Godwin Obasekis’ renewed commitment to engage more youths in governance

Igbinovia stated that, the choice of Hon IYOHA as the Chief of Staff, is a clear proof of placing a round peg in a round hole.

“It is a welcome development and also a good choice for me. Gbovo has worked quietly behind the scene and the Governor noticed his efforts. Again, this shows that the Governor has passion to include youths in Governance, “he maintained.

Igbinovia admonished youths in the state to abstain from all forms of violence and embrace peace that would endear them to the corridor of power.

While hailing the governor for what he claimed was an exceptional choice, he, however, urged the new Chief of staff to sustain the trust reposed on him by building the right synergy amongst Government officials and the people they govern.

He noted, “ I have no doubt that, he will use this opportunity to assure those who gave him the chance”.

Recall that, a statement released at the wee hour of Wednesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie informed that, the appointment of Hon Osaigbovo IYOHA takes immediate effect.

The appointment of Hon Osaigbovo Iyoha, has now put an end to months of Agitations by some stakeholders in the state, while he replaced the former Chief of staff, Osazee Ethan Uzamere who served briefly during Governor Obaseki’s first tenure in office.
