The Benin Traditional Council, has confirmed the Suspension of the former odionwere of Omuada Roland Ekhoe Ogbebor from all activities relating to the Palace of the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Ewuare Second.
A statement released, authorized and made available to newsmen Wednesday in Benin City, by the Secretary to the Benin Traditional Council, Frank Irabor noted that, his suspension from the Palace is with immediate effect.
Irabor in the statement, disclosed that, Roland Ekhoe’s Suspension was informed by his recent invitation by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, alongside the Nigerian Police for Questioning.
He explained that, in other to allow unhindered investigation by the anti graft commission and other relevant Security Agencies, the Benin Monarch gave the directive.
The Statement put to rest several weeks of speculations about the suspension of the former Omuoda, Roland Ekhoe Ogbebor for his suspected involvements in land grabbing.
