Edo State Police Command, has disclosed that, one sowore felix olajide, a pharmacy student of the igbinedion university okada, have been shot dead by suspected kidnappers at Isiuwa Community, along the Lagos-Benin Express way.
The command also noted that, Five unidentified persons were kidnapped during the incident that left the student dead in the early hours of Saturday.
A statement released and made available to newsmen in Benin City by the Police spokesman, SP KONTONGS BELLO Confirmed the incident, adding, “the remains of the deceased is now deposited at the
IUTH mortuary facility okada”.
According to SP Bello, the Police Operatives is now trailing the suspected Criminals in its efforts to rescue the Five unidentified victims.
“Search Effort Is Ongoing To Rescue The Five Kidnap Victims And Rescue Ops Is Ongoing. Details will be released soon,” he stated.
Despite the earlier statement released by the State Police Command, no further details have been issued by the school authority on the incident.
