Atiku opined that his campaign entourage visiting the palace of the Oba of Benin became a necessity given the significant role of the ancient Kingdom in the affairs of its people
The host, the Oba of Benin, Ewuare Second, assured of his blessings, stressing that only God Almighty would determine who becomes Nigeria’s President while responding to the visitors
While praying the God and his ancestors to grant the former Vice President his heart desires, the Benin monarch disclosed that from time to time he had been conscious of Atiku’s antecedents since he emerged as the PDP standard Bearer.
