The Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, has expressed his support for the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the National Open University NOUN, Professor Uduma Iji Uduma, in achieving the institution’s goals.
The monarch made this known when he received Uduma and his management team at the Palace in Benin City.

acknowledging the achievements of outgoing VC, Professor Olufemi Peters
Uduma, who was introduced by Peters, described the Oba as a beacon of inspiration to NOUN.
The Oba advised Uduma to “stay in touch”, assuring him of his continued support as Chancellor.
