Bendel Insurance FC and Warri Wolves played out a goalless draw in a Niger Delta derby, with the Benin Arsenal struggling to break down a stubborn Wolves side.
Insurance dominated possession and created chances, particularly in the second half, but were unable to capitalize. Efe Ubiomo and Chinedu Nwosu combined well with Dazzling Dung Emmanuel, but the Deltans held firm.
The result keeps Bendel Insurance 7th on the league table with 45 points, while Warri Wolves remain 11th. Insurance will host Plateau Utd next weekend.
Technical manager Kennedy Boboye was pleased with the point, saying his team had chances to win but were unable to convert. He remains confident of finishing in the top three.
