Eben Enasco Reporting.

The irrationality of a thing is not an argument against its existence, rather a condition of it.

James Reese once said, there are certain clues at a crime scene which, by their very nature, do not lend themselves to being collected or examined.

Harmless and logical this may sound is that no one defraud in pretence, rage, hate, and fear at the same time, hope for tomorrow to be kind?

There is no hunting like the hunting of man; and those who have hunted others long enough and liked it, and never really care for anything else.

In every home and community in the Seven local government areas, in Edo South, it was almost all absurdity of conduct arising from the criminal intimidation and land grabbing activities of the Omuada Roland Osagbaekhoe which resulted in pains to each family who is alive or dead.

It was time for the beekeeper or apiculturists harvester to face the hives of the millions of angry bees who never wanted to part with it honey substances without a price when the expansionist Omuada was arraigned for trial before a competent court of justice.

At the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City on Wednesday the former Odionwere, Omuada Roland Osagbaekhoe Omo Ogbebor, was remanded in the custody of the Correctional Centre for alleged fraud-related charges.

He was remanded by the Court for allegedly swindling two unsuspecting persons to the tune of thirty-one million naira.

Recall that, he was banned from participating in all palace and cultural related activities for his suspected criminal exploits during and after his time as the head Omuada by his Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare the second in a statement signed and released by the Secretary of the Benin Traditional Council, Frank Irhabor sometime last year.

It was his first appearance after running underground for months while an anti-graft agency trailed his steps and later found he was in Lagos.

Trending reports from a verified source disclosed that a notable Chief who stood for his bail was later arrested when the said Omuada jumped bail.

The court charges filed against the now falling Senior landgrabber, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, bordered on the Omuada collecting the sum of eighteen million naira from a victim under the pretense of transferring a plot of land measuring 200 ft by 200 ft for him in Okhuoromi community in April 2020.

Besides the eighteen million naira collected, he was also alleged to have collected the sum of thirteen million naira from another victim under the pretense of transferring a plot of land measuring 100 ft by 100 ft for him in the Okhuoromi community.

Presenting his arguments, the Prosecution Counsel to the EFCC, Ibrahim Mohammed, prayed the court to remand the former Odionwere Omuada in the Correctional Centre.

However, Counsel to the Defendant, Chief Micheal Ukpebor, informed the court that his client has a pending bail application before the Court.

He prayed the Court to let his client remain in the custody of the EFCC, a development that was outrightly rejected by the prosecuting counsel who stated that, the commission has no space to accommodate the Defendant.

The trial Judge, Hon. Justice S. M. Shuaibu accordingly remanded the former Odionwere Omuada in the custody of the Correctional Centre whilst the hearing of the bail application procedures adjourned to March 8, 2022.

Roland Osagbaekhoe is to remain at the correctional center until a new date set aside for the hearing is reached.
