Joshua Eghe Reporting.

The Edo State Police Command has initiated a manhunt for 24-year-old Eromonsele Clinton Ose, suspected of being involved in the gruesome murder of Felix Adams, whose body was found burned in Benin City on March 11, 2024.

Witnesses allege that Ose was in the company of the victim at the scene of the crime and was also Adams’ romantic partner.

According to eyewitnesses, the killing occurred due to an unresolved dispute, and the perpetrators set Adams ablaze, causing widespread tension in the area.

Ose reportedly fled the scene before police intervention.

Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Dankwara, confirmed the incident and stated that Ose is a prime suspect being sought for questioning.

The police are working to apprehend Ose and other suspects, and have warned against similar incidents in the future.

Gay romantic partnership is a serious taboo in Nigeria particularly in most states that have their beliefs rooted in tradition.
