Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt.Hon. Dennis Idahosa, is emphasizing unity among the All Progressives Congress, APC, members in the state to support the Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo’s development agenda.
The convening featured Deputy Governor Idahosa’s pivotal message, highlighting unity as the cornerstone of APC’s success and Edo State’s advancement, underscoring its importance in Promoting intra-party harmony, accelerating development, and
enhancing governance efficacy
Deputy Governor Idahosa emphasized that resolving existing divisions within the party is paramount to fostering collaboration, ensuring the September 21 governorship election victory’s momentum continues, and securing a united front for Governor Okpebholo’s administration.
The ceremony, a New Year’s gathering for Edo South APC leaders, took place at Government House, Benin City, where notably, Governor Monday Okpebholo was absent, as he was engaged in pressing state affairs, but sent his appreciation and goodwill message to attendees.
He emphasized the imperative of unity, urging APC members to set aside differences and rally behind Senator Okpebholo’s administration, ensuring cohesive support for the governor’s development agenda.
Meanwhile, in Supporting Statements, by party leaders, including Lucky Imasuen, a former deputy governor and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu a former governorship candidate, declared that Unity benefits all Edo people where No room for disunity is encouraged saying unity ensures good governance.
