N200m Oshiomhole Alleged Market Donations: Madam Blacky Dares Accussers To Swear by “Ayelala”, Denies Ekiosa Market Fire Incident

Eben Enasco Reporting.

Madam Blacky Ogiamen, President of the Edo State Market Women Association, ESMWA, has strongly denied allegations of receiving N200 million from former Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole in 2013.

In a bold move, she challenged those accusing her to swear an oath before the dreaded Ayelala juju, a traditional symbol of truth and integrity.

Addressing journalists at Ekiosa Market in Benin, Ogiamen stated that Oshiomhole’s administration only donated N100 million to the association during its end-of-year ceremony in 2013.

She emphasised that the funds were shared among members who attended the event, with leaders from various districts distributing the money to their respective members.

Ogiamen’s defiant stance underscores her commitment to clearing her name and reputation, which she claims have been maliciously tarnished by false accusations.

She challenged Oshiomhole’s claims, stating, “He wants to tarnish my name because of politics. I did not burn any market nor send anyone to do so. He never gave me any money on behalf of the association, let alone N200 million. He lied against me.”

By invoking the Ayelala juju, she demonstrates her willingness to submit to a traditional test of truth, daring her accusers to do the same.

This move highlights the gravity of the allegations and the importance of establishing the truth, while also showcasing Ogiamen’s determination to protect her integrity and that of the ESMWA.

Market leaders from various districts, including Ikpoba-Okha, Esan West, Ovia South-West, and Ovia North-East, corroborated Ogiamen’s account, refuting the allegations against their president.
